Mike left a career as an Airforce Pilot to pursue a passion to see young people encounter Christ and learn to follow him. He spent 7 years as Chaplain (now Christian Pastoral Support Worker) at Golden Grove High School, and six years as Pastor of the Pedare Uniting Evening service. That service was known for its conversion growth and development of young leadership. Mike was also highly involved in networking the local youth ministries so that they could all be more fruitful in outreach and discipleship.
After returning to secular employment for several years, Mike is now pastoring at a church plant of The Journey Uniting Church at Elizabeth Downs, where youth ministry is flourishing, new leaders are being developed and alternate forms of church are being explored.
